Hotel Review: Shervinton Executive Boutique Hotel, Tawau (Malaysia)

 

I have visited Tawau town - the third largest township in Sabah, after Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan two weeks ago. Among all the hotels, I have chose to stay in Shervinton Executive Boutique Hotel as i found the is best hotel in the town. What is the best thing in the hotel? Well.. The best thing in staying this hotel is you could spend the least to own the most luxury living in the town. The price is very affordable!

Shervinton Executive Boutique Hotel is located at the corner of the shop whereby the location of hotel is the most strategic that you can access to restaurant/ convenient shop within walking distance.

Shervinton Executive Boutique Hotel located 31.4 KM away from Tawau Airport. Distance from hotel to Teck Guan Cocoa Village (4.1 KM), Pu Zhao Temple (4.8 KM), Hot Spring Tawau (8.2 KM), Tawau Hills Park (25 KM),  Madai Cave (89 KM).

Here is my personal review to the hotel.

The executive room with one large double bed I chose cost me RM148 per night, inclusive the next day breakfast.

 

The writing table located at the corner where the light is just nice to have some after-work-email-reading.

 

The bathroom is clean and tidy, with the prepared shampoo. They are using an open-concept toilet bowl. There is only the glass door for shower corner but no door covered for the toilet bowl. Be aware! Hahaha..

 

I think it is pretty good to stay in this hotel if you want to spend a day in tawau town to look for their local food. Tawau is located one hour away from Semporna where you could find the beautiful beach and sea view in POM POM Island, Sipadan, Kapalai, Mabul, Mataking, Maiga and others. I beat all diving or snorkeling lovers will love this place!

Hotel Review: Casa del Rio, Melaka (Malaysia)

Found this unique building when you were visiting Melaka? A lot of people think that this is just an old fashion building in the town. However, do you ever find that this is the very famous 5 star hotel in the historical town, the Casa del Rio.

Casa del Rio is one of the well known hotel under YTL group, where it made me to feel the greatest feeling of home. Casa del Rio located at the center of Melaka city and you will find it’s really convenient to access to the tourist attraction point.
Distance from Casa del Rio to Baba and Nyonya Heritage Museum (0.3KM), Stadthuys (0.4KM), Jonker Street (0.5 KM), San Shu Gong souvenir shop (0.5KM), Maritime Museum (0.7KM), Melaka River Cruise (0.7KM), Menara Taming Sari (0.95 KM), The Shore Oceanarium (1.4KM) Coconut shake (5.7KM).
During check in, the front desk staff welcome you with smiling face and they will serve you a hand towel to clean your hand, and followed by a sweet and sour welcome drink.

The dessert which found surprisingly in the room! The dessert made from the famous souvenir in melaka city – the Gula Melaka.

The balcony is a good place to have snack and chit chat during night time.


The shower room facilities come with bathtub where you could relax your body after a tiring day of city tour. Of course, the shampoo and hair conditioner are all well prepared for the guest.


Hotel also provide swimming pool at the roof top. Next to the swimming pool, you’ll find a bar where you could order some drink to enjoy the city view.

Last but not least, hotel will provide you the weather forecast to you as well. The is the greatest part where you can feel how much their staff care about your stay with them.

Hotel Review: Ayrest Hotel, Hua Hin (Thailand)

This is the accommodation review when i spent my stay with family during our trip in Hua Hin, Thailand. Hua Hin is actually located at the south of Thailand (about two hours driving distance from the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok). Hua Hin becomes quite popular as one of the tourist attraction point since 2012.

Based on my staying experience with Ayrest Hotel, their staffs are all friendly and easy to communicate in English. Besides, their team are professional too as they took immediate action/ solution to solve the problem that I encountered. My families and I had a great stay with them and we will stay in the same hotel during our next visit!
